Eonour Software Limited has achieved yet another milestone by declaring record earnings for the first quarter ended June 30, 2000. Chennai based Eonour has shown revenues of Rs 9.51 crores an increase of 690% in sales over the corresponding quarter last year and a net of Rs 3.61 crores, an increase of 2224% over the corresponding net on the same quarter last year.

The company is expanding its operations into four countries by opening offices in the next 6 months time in UK, US, Hong Kong and Singapore. The company is offering total B2B solution in e-commerce for its clients in India and abroad. The company is in the process of finalizing a joint venture to enter the Chinese market with its expertise in providing Supply chain solutions on the web. To jump start this process the company plans to establish an office in Hong Kong shortly.

Eonour has identified two potential companies for acquisition and is in advanced stages of negotiations with them. The target companies are in the fields of e-commerce consulting and solutions. The company expects both these acquisitions to be completed within the next four months time. These acquisitions will help Eonour have instant access to Fortune 100 clientele. In addition to funds from internal accruals, the company is in discussions with high net worth individuals, private equity groups and asset management funds to fund the acquisitions. Eonour recently passed resolutions for placing equity shares to fund its ongoing activities and future acquisitions.

The corporate strategy of growth through acquisitions allows Eonour to add considerable valute to its portfolio by acquiring companies in similar areas of operations. This strategy is expected to propel the company forward into the global arena by 2002.

The company with its domain expertise in Supply Chain Management has developed a product "Dealer Network Automation", which is aimed at any distribution-oriented industry. Currently the company has over 200 installations in the country for this product. Eonour Software Limited was previously known as Mikugura Software Limited, before R Karthik, CEO, took a controlling interest in this Indore-based company and renamed it. He shifted the core focus of the company from basic software application development to B2B solutions in India and aborad. The company has moved its operations to Chennai and got Company Law Board's permission to shift the registered office to Chennai.
