Eonour Software Ltd proposes to acquire two companies in the US, the first of which is expected to be completed 'shortly'. The company is also planning a joint venture with Best Group International of Hong Kong.

Mr. R. Karthik, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Eonour, said that one of the target companies was at Bay Area in the US. The US company specializes in application service provider (ASP) solutions on the Web. It has a turnover in excess of $3 millions.

The other company is a security consulting company, Mr. Karthik told Business Line. Eonour is currently involved in e-commerce projects and on-site consultancy. Mr. Karthik estimated that the revenues for the year ending March 31, 2001 around Rs. 37 crores.

The company has a product for dealer management. Kinetic Honda and Hero Honda are its clients for networking all dealers.

Mr. Karthik said that a $2-million letter of intent was signed recently with UK-based Hendon IT Systems. The tenure of this contract would be two years.
